Long routes on foot

The pilgrims’ road to Santiago de Compostela

The pilgrims’ road to Santiago de Compostela is a UNESCO world heritage site. The pilgrims’ road is also an original way of discovering the cultural and natural heritage of the Loir valley.

It follows the GR 655 from Brussels to Tours via Paris, Chartres and Châteaudun.

The Brussels-Paris-Tours guide describes this route in all detail.

From Perche to the Loir

The GR 35 follows the GR 655 to a great extent along the Loir valley from the source at Saint Eman (Illiers-Combray) to Angers.
