Even today, it is still possible to admire several architectural features of this ancient fortress, which has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1924. The mighty keep is the most prominent feature of the site; it is an imposing four-story circular tower measuring 15 meters in diameter. Some of the foundation walls of the enclosure are still visible today. A three-story gate tower still connects the fortified keep to a courtyard containing several later buildings, including a former 17th-century chapel.
