Former priory connected to the abbey of Thiron-Gardais, constructed in the 12th century and restored during the Renaissance and again in the nineteenth century.

The Priory of Bouche d’Aigre is a 12th century building which was part of the Benedictine Abbey of Thiron and was home to a community of monks until the French Revolution. Taken over after the Revolution by a captain of the Napoleonic army, the restoration of the Priory lasted until the end of the 19th century. The Grange à Pain is one of the buildings which belongs to this Priory. It is situated in the heart of a 30-hectare park, bordered by two rivers, the Loir and the Aigre.
