This ride will take you to “The Land” of Emile Zola, who found inspiration for his famous book here.
After freshening up at the Tirelles lake in Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières, follow the trail through wooded undergrowth, farmland and peaceful villages, discovering sites laden with history such as the priory of Notre-Dame d’Yron. This chapel dating from the 12th and 13th centuries was the departure point of the Children’s Crusade.
